As part of your summer doldrums reading, follow me through two trends that are taking place on the medical pricing and reimbursement front. The first is the flurry of interest in erythropoetic stimulating agents (ESAs); the second is the transparency of primary care service pricing; and the last is the emergence of pharmacy benefit management organizations to assist in management of the expensive oral and home injectable anticancer agents we are using for our patients.
